Hours: 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, (flexible start time / lunch break)
Salary: £15.00ph / circa £30,000 pa

We're seeking an experienced Instrument Assembly Technician to join the hardware build team for our Cambridge based client. You will undertake the manufacture of world leading life science instruments and will work in a clean modern manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
* Mechanical, electrical and fluidics assembly
* Build assemblies and test them following work instructions, drawings and verbal instructions
* Assist in ordering of parts and stock management
* Ensure the company's high product quality standards are consistently achieved.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of soldering and manufacturing of wiring assemblies
* Confidence to work with large and small parts to a high level of accuracy
* Experience working within a modern manufacturing environment to ISO9001 quality standards
* Ability to demonstrate a high level of workmanship with an eye for detail
* Accurate literacy and numerical skills together with excellent interpersonal skills, communicating well at all levels
* PC literate, with a minimum basic knowledge Microsoft Excel and Word
