We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Technician to assist a company based just north of Cambridge city. Full training will be given on specific products.

Responsibilities:

* Building new and existing products / scientific instruments and systems
* Working from prototype / draft instructions

Key skills required:

* Experience in electromechanical build
* Troubleshooting/fault finding skills
* Experience in Manufacturing Processes and techniques
* Experience with pre-production and NPI processes
* Prototyping experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to follow verbal instruction as well as written standard operating procedures, work instructions, e-drawings
* Experience with surface mount PCB assembly
* Wiring and cable assembly experience
* IT literate
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to adapt to flexible work priorities and multitask
