Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Royston (SG8)
Duration: 3 months, possible long term opportunity
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a client local to Royston to help drive the R&D efforts of their rapidly growing technology business.

Responsibilities

* Support and participate in manufacturing activities to understand product development and testing
* Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the manufacture of existing and new released designs
* Continuous improvement of processes


Requirements

* Proven experience in a Manufacturing or Process Engineering role, ideally within robotics, automation, or advanced assembly.
*Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, standardised work and process development.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; data-driven and detail-oriented.
* Confident communicator, capable of working with cross-functional teams including R&D, supply chain and external partners.
*Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused engineering environment.
