Hours: 8am until 4:45pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on a Friday
Salary: £40,000 with a joining bonus of £1,500 after 6 months successful employment

Polytec are looking for a confident Account Manager for our client based just outside Cambridge. You will need to have a technical background and experience within a manufacturing environment. European travel may be required for this role.

Responsibilities:

* Key point of contact
* Support and maintain customer relations with accounts
* Develop a recognised partnership with customers and instill a degree of trust
* Resolve issues that arise by making improvements to existing products / services or developing new ones

Requirements:

* An understanding of commercial aspects in an OEM environment
* Good negotiation skills
* Experience in managing large accounts
* Experience in a technical industry, ideally fluid or gas management systems
* Good relationship building skills
* Able to read technical drawings and project briefs
* Good time management skills
* Ability to understand and discuss customer requirements
