We're looking for a Product Assembler to join our Ely based client on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role within the manufacturing operation, where you'll play an important part in assembling specialist accessories.
The role is varied, and you'll receive training across a range of processes and equipment. You'll also have the opportunity to support other areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Assembling accessories, from picking components through to final packing and preparation for dispatch
• Pick and prepare components accurately, keeping stock records up to date
• Follow work orders and assembly instructions correctly
• Work as part of the team to meet production targets
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time
• Support Team Leaders with training, cross-training and workplace improvement activities
• Help identify and solve problems and suggest ways to improve quality and production
Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A positive team player who works well with others
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues
• A willingness to learn new skills and support different areas of the manufacturing team
