Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5.00pm Friday (37 hours per week)

Polytec are looking for a hands-on Test Technician to join our south Cambridgeshire based client. The successful candidate will join our client's laboratory team to work on a range of innovative medical and drug delivery devices.
Responsibilities
• Carry out mechanical and functional testing, including environmental conditioning, inspections and physical measurements
• Follow test methods, protocols, SOPs and work instructions
• Accurately record test data and results
• Use a range of test equipment, bespoke rigs and laboratory systems
• Handle chemicals and pharmaceutical formulations safely
• Support project teams in delivering testing milestones
Requirements
• Previous experience in laboratory or technical testing
• Experience recording test data accurately
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Ideally, experience within a medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated environment
• Practical, methodical and detail-focused approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to manage changing priorities and learn new technical skills
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience would be advantageous
