Hours: 37.5 hours, 6pm - 6:30am Monday to Wednesday (Night shift)
Salary: £15 - £16ph depending on experience, plus a 25% shift allowance

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join the night shift team for our Ely based client.

Responsibilities:
•     Load, set up, and operate CNC machines in accordance with production requirements
•    Manufacture first-off components for inspection and approval before commencing full production
•    Maintain responsibility for quality control by recording and verifying components against engineering drawing specifications
•    Monitor machine performance throughout production to maximise efficiency and output
•    Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes
•    Read, interpret, and work accurately from engineering drawings and technical documentation
•    Carry out routine maintenance and basic servicing of equipment and machinery within your area of responsibility, in line with your skills and training

Requirements:
•    Experience operating Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems
•    Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
•    Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
•    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
•    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve machining or production issues efficiently
