Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Friday
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum dependent on experience

Polytec are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our Newmarket based client. The successful candidate will lead the production operation with full accountability for customer satisfaction, operational performance and continuous improvement and be responsible for delivering quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets while developing a capable, high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
* Lead production operations end-to-end, ensuring delivery against customer, quality, cost and service expectations
* Own and deliver key performance indicators including Revenue, On-Time Delivery, Quality and Arrears
* Forecast performance and execute operational plans to achieve targets
* Ensure capacity, capability and resources are planned and in place to meet customer demand
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency and waste reduction
* Deploy and sustain Standard Work, ensuring compliance and corrective action where required
* Communicate daily performance using visual management and KPI reporting
* Promote cross-training to improve flexibility and responsiveness
* Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental management systems
Requirements:
* Proven experience leading manufacturing or operations teams
* Strong background in Lean principles and continuous improvement
* Strategic, data-driven mindset with a hands-on leadership style
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Experience working within ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environments
