Mechanical Technician

We have a vacancy for a Mechanical Technician for a company based just outside Cambridge. You will assemble and test products ensuring they meet the correct standards and are fully compliant with internal standards This role is expected to last until the end of May. You must be capable of being on your feet for 8 hours a day.

Requirements

* City & Guilds in a relevant field or equivalent qualification / experience
* Good mechanical assembly and testing background
* Good practical and technical skills
* Understanding of engineering drawings and principles
* Ability to work methodically and precisely
* Ability to manage a varied workload in an efficient manner
* Work well as part of a team
* Initiative and be able to take responsibility
* Good communication skills
* Computer literate
