» Senior Customer Support Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Customer Support Engineer, reporting to the Senior Engineer Manager, to provide specialist customer support to the field base of high end machines worldwide.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. To deliver effective on-site specialist technical support of clients products in the field service
2. To carry out routine maintenance and upgrades of client’s products
3. To install products and where required deliver customer training and machine minding
4. To carry out machine audits and prepare reports on findings
5. To carry out site-surveys and prepare reports on information gained
6. To offer show support of products where necessary
7. To report machine issues and newly encountered problems to the Technical Liaison Engineer as they arise
Contact with others:
1. Customers, Partners and Distributors
2. Customer Support Team
3. R&D and Production Staff
Knowledge and Experience:
1. Substantial experience in a field service engineering role in an international business
2. HND/First Degree level or equivalent in Electronics/Electrical/Controls engineering
3. IT skills – Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes

Cambridge | Salary range: £31,000 to 33,000
