		<description>Our client is seeking a senior research scientist in their Bioanalytical Sciences area. The role will involve the development and execution of Bioanalytical assays for DMPK analysis of products, through the day to day implementation and execution of experimental procedures and laboratory work. This will be conducted in compliance with GLP's or GCLP's.Duties and responsibilities* Take responsibility for planning, co-ordinating and undertaking the development and use of bioanalytical, immunoassay based assays in the analysis of samples.* Management of individuals* Ensure where appropriate that procedures are performed in accordance with current GLP or GCLP practices including validation of methods and instrumentation.* Ensure relevant equipment is maintained and in good working order.* Preparation of GxP documentation For this role it is essential to have a BSc or equivalent in a Biological Science or similar. A PhD is desirable.It is essential to have comprehensive practical experience of developing and performing Immunoassays in a laboratory environment and you must have experience of working within a quality system. You must have practical experience of developing immunoassays as well as having excellent MS Office skills. Experience of immunogenicity is essential for this role.PK analysis skills and knowledge of GLP for PK assays would be useful.You will be meticulous in your approach, have excellent communication skills and the ability to plan, control and organise your own work load.</description>

The role is to work closely with the Clinical Leader, Medical Monitor; Biopharmaceutical Development, Discovery, Pharmacology and Toxicology scientists, in the preparation of Clinical Development Plans (COPs), protocols and Clinical Study Reports (CSRs). You may serve in various roles including team member or leader on clinical project teams and sub-teams, delegated by the Clinical Leader.RESPONSIBILITIES:As a member of the multifunctional team you will create and maintain the COP for assigned programs ensuring alignment with the Target Product Profile (TPP).You may have a leadership role on sub-clinical teams for assigned programs/projects as delegated by the Clinical leader.You will represent the clinical development function by assisting in planning, conducting, data review and cleaning as well as evaluating the clinical trials under his/her responsibility.You will work with the Clinical Leader to establish and approve scientific methods for design and implementation of applicable clinical protocols, data collection systems, data analysis including the statistical analysis plan and provide clinical input in the development and review of the clinical study reports. 		<description>Our client is seeking a scientist to carry out research and development of novel architectures and processes leading to fabrication of “state of the art” organic electronic devices – PLEDS/OTFT and OPVs. The scientist/engineer in this position will play a key role in identifying new opportunities for organic electronics, and in experimentation to realise these opportunities.   2	KEY RESULT AREAS:	* Devise and execute experiments to develop high performance organic electronic devices (PLEDs, OTFTs, OPVs,) through process and device optimisation and understanding of the processes that limit performance.* Fabricate and characterise OEDs using appropriate techniques.* Support material development activities through planning experiments and analysing results* Work within a team to develop an enhanced understanding of device operation, optimise device performance, and understand the commercial and technological issues crucial to the commercialisation of this novel technology.* Active participation in the Strategic Innovation Group in identifying and enabling new technologies that extends the scope and range of the company’s core technology, expertise and capabilities.* Actively participate in patenting activities.* Liaise with academic partners* Assist in planning and securing funding for future projects.* Maintain a culture of health and safety within the laboratory.3	MAIN ACTIVITIES:* Fabricate devices in the company’s cleanroom facilities.* Characterise these devices using the relevant equipment, and develop novel measurement techniques and systems to improve understanding and throughput* Characterise new materials produced by the chemists and external partners and collaborators.* Analyse results and make conclusions, writing reports when necessary.* Keep careful records of all laboratory work to ensure control and traceability.* Identify new approaches and architectures for novel organic electronic devices that will expand the company’s IP portfolio and potentially contribute to future revenues.* Attend regular group meetings and be prepared to discuss results and contribute fully to discussions.* Liaise with other technical teams within the company to maintain awareness of developments and contribute as appropriate.* Liaise with University collaborators, keeping regular contact with the company’s funded students and assisting them when necessary.* Keep abreast of developments in the field via regular literature searches.* Develop and maintain equipment for characterisation of the properties of OEDs.* Maintain an awareness of the requirements for commercialisation of new technologies, including the complexity of processing and issues involved in production.* Communicate effectively across the scientific disciplines to promote internal discussion and move the technology forward.* Generate and keep records of new intellectual Property* Represent the department as a key member of the Strategic Innovation Group.
