		<title>Senior Consultant - Technology and Performance</title>
		<description>Our client is looking for an individual who wants to use their technical and commercial consulting experience in working with public and private sector organisations, principally addressing our clients' needs in technology strategy and performance. The purpose of the job is to sell and lead significant projects in the Strategy and Business Improvement Campaign, where the client works with their customers to improve their strategy and management of technology. The consulting work covered by the Division includes:* Technology strategy and implementation * Innovation management * Market strategy * RandD process improvement * Business performance improvement * Technology/partner search and selection Specific responsibilities Senior Consultants work on client assignments in multidisciplinary project teams, often on more than one project and in different team roles. High quality work is essential from every team member. You will be expected to generate new business and also act as a project manager. Project managers are responsible for agreeing the focus and scope of the programmes and preparing and issuing proposals. After managing a successful proposal, you will manage the resulting project for the client. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the resources (people, time and budget) to ensure that the client's specification and our quality standards are met within the terms and conditions of the contract. The philosophy is to work closely with our clients throughout all projects. Accordingly, the right candidate will be comfortable in a high profile role; managing clients/people at a senior level (e.g. board level and/or senior divisional level in large multinationals). Some of the consulting projects are short duration, rapid assignments carried out by a small team. In such projects it is quite usual for the project manager to undertake a significant part of the professional services work as well. Minimum requirements You should have a good degree in a relevant science or engineering subject, along with a suitable post graduate qualification.
