» Quality, Health, Safety And Environmental Officer
The role is to develop and establish proactive and preventative quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) policies while ensuring compliance with current legislation. Improve Business Management Systems and identify the root causes of QHSE non conformances and deficiencies.
Manage all QHSE compliance requirements and market risks/opportunities
Tracking external developments
You will support produce and be involved in development, supply chain logistics and sales/marketing
Problem analysis, process analysis, the identification of process improvements and the implementation of preventive action
Formalise monthly reports for QHSE
Active participation in QHSE focussed groups
Assist in the implementation of a structured performance assessment process for systems, process and products
Identify opportunity for improvement relating to QHSE
Assist in the evaluation of non-conformances relating to product, process and Business Systems with recommendations for solution
Preparation and writing of QHSE reports
Assist in quality matters
Liaise with external parties, i.e. customers, accreditation bodies, suppliers on matters relating to QHSE
Evaluation and audit of sub contractors and suppliers
Person Specification
Essential
Min HND or equivalent in technical discipline
5+ years experience in QHSE Excel.
Knowledge of ISO OHSAS18001 and ISO14001
3-4 yrs in production engineering environment

NEBOSH qualification
