» New Products Marketing Manager

A vacancy has arisen in our client’s marketing department for a New Products Marketing Manager, a role integral to their continued expansion.
This is an exciting opportunity to join as a senior member of the Marketing team. You will be based in the UK and be part of a talented cross-functional team that is implementing their new products strategy. Managing a small team of marketing coordinators, the role will involve both market evaluation and tactical marketing activities in support of the new product vision.
Key responsibilities will include delivering a comprehensive market assessment process for new product opportunities, and through interaction with technical and commercial teams you will take a prominent role in our client’s market-led approach to new product expansion. You will also lead the planning and implementation of tactical marketing for new and existing product lines, including product launches, to deliver revenues in line with budget expectations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commercial acumen through clear customer focus and market and technology awareness. You will have a proven track record in the successful launch of new products as well as effective management of marketing budgets. Experience of market research for Life Science research reagents and commercial decision making is essential, as too is the ability to devise and implement product marketing strategies. An ability to generate creative solutions within the marketing framework will be critical to success. You will be results focused, have previous experience of managing teams and be comfortable interacting with senior management. Significant international travel will be required.
You should have a degree in the Life Sciences and preferably postgraduate experience in a laboratory or the Life Sciences industry. Further additional academic qualifications (i.e. higher degrees or an MBA) are highly desirable.
