» Laboratory Technician - Research

Our client is looking for three temporary laboratory technicians, two to start in a couple of weeks and one to start on the 6th July for 6mth contracts initially. You will be required to assist in the routine manufacture and testing of their sensor chips in order to support sensor development. This will predominantly involve treatment and etching of chip prototypes, mounting of chips and wire bonding, contribution to the planning and implementation of device and concept testing, utilising the most appropriate and effective methods, to assist in the analysis of test results & to assist general research activities. You must have a science based degree or good grade science 'A' levels & some experience in a similar laboratory role is highly desirable. Working in accordance with GLP and Health and Safety procedures is essential, as is good attention to detail, experience in planning experiments & computer literacy. Experience of working with quality systems e.g. ISO, familiarity with semiconductor technology and a good understanding of material science is highly desirable.
