» Junior Applications Specialist

Our client is looking for a junior applications specialist who will be their expert Mac and Inkjet Press Support Technician. Working in a small team, your responsibilities will include working confidently with customers to demonstrate how to output their files through our clients equipment, and working alongside Customer Support Engineers at installations when required. Using established procedures you will provide initial RIP training to customers and distributors, and provide follow-up support to them at their facilities to assist them with areas of weakness and enable them to improve skills levels. You will offer front-end printer workflow troubleshooting, testing and verifying reported problems. Educated to BTEC level in a related discipline or a minimum of three years relevant print industry experience, it is essential that you possess an excellent knowledge of Mac applications and current design packages, have experience in the use of RIPs and are fully conversant with PCs and Windows operating systems. For this role it is vital that you have excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
