		<title>Pilot Plant Chemist</title>
		<description>Our client is currently seeking a Chemist to operate the pilot plant in compliance with regulatory requirements to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients for clinical and other trials. MAIN DUTIES:*Execution of routine experimental work, both in the pilot plant and laboratory, under the supervision of a more senior member of staff. *Supports the design, development, scale up and/ or operation of robust, cost effective processes for the production of new and existing products. *Assists in the review of manufacturing processes and/ or development data.*Assists in the design and execution of experiments at pilot scale. *Helps formulate recommendations to improve quality, productivity, recovery and efficiency. *Trains other staff on new or changed processes and the use of equipment. *Preparation of pharmaceutical actives, complying with cGMP. *Maintenance and improvement of the pilot plant and its equipment. *Maintenance of comprehensive records of work performed. *Commissioning of trial equipment. *To comply with regulatory requirements and corporate policies and goals. *To prepare periodic reports and present findings to customers and others as required. SKILLS: *Graduate or equivalent or some experience of working in a pilot plant. *Flexible approach to work. *Meticulous record keeping.*MS Office *Fork lift truck driver (training provided) *Part of the job involves climbing ladders and lifting*Numerate o Able to work well within constraints of GMP*Team player. Shift pattern is a double day shift: 6am to 2pm; 2pm to 10pm.</description>

		<title>Laboratory Test Technician</title>
		<description>This  role is to work in the Development Centre and is to provide operational support within the test group as instructed by the Test Engineer. This involves the assembly of test cell devices.The duties will cover:- Device assembly of spin coated test cells (P-OLED and OTFT)Standard Unibench, IVL and lifetime testing of spin coated test cells (P-OLED  and OTFT). Tracking devices through the testing system. Test substrates via automated inspection tool and visual inspection. Visual inspection for defects. Electrical screening for predicted shorts. IVL measurements as required. Photography as required. EL Spectra measurements. Reliability testingUse of automated lifetime systems. Device cleaning including use of automated cleaning system. Pinning of devices and test cells. Stock checking. Database support.To be considered for the role your background qualifications and experience should cover:- HNC/HND/Degree or 1 year experience in a laboratory environment Windows NT and Microsoft Office products is highly desirable as these will be used on a daily basis. An ability to work unsupervised for long periods and to provide quality and timely feedback to relevant parties any anomalous observations. A calm and methodical approach to work during busy periods, the ability to work on several batches of work simultaneously without loss of efficiency or productivity  and able to react quickly and appropriately to changing priorities and unexpected demands. A willingness to liaise with external customers and suppliers on a regular basis.</description>

		<description>To support their continued expansion, our clients are looking for a laboratory technician within their product development and manufacture facility.  Working closely with their Imaging Scientists, you will be responsible for performing immunofluorescense and immunohistochemical staining techniques, specimen preparation, ordering and making up reagents, and any other tasks that are deemed necessary in order to facilitate the smooth operation of the imaging laboratory.  Full training in this area will be given.  You will be educated to at least A-level standard, with two of your subjects being in biology and chemistry.  Practical and theoretical knowledge of antibodies and antibody-based laboratory techniques would be desirable. You will have exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal and team-working skills. You must also have a customer focused approach to your work.</description>
