		<description>Our client is seeking a Research Assistant to join their team.   Main duties and responsibilities include dealing with practical aspects of running bioanalytical assays to analyse samples. You will carry out all work to the required standards including validation of methods where required, acquiring thorough knowledge of equipment relating to analysis and ensuring relevant equipment is maintained and in good working order in accordance with prevailing regulatory standards.You will become familiar with the regulatory requirements for bioanalytical testing of protein pharmaceuticals and ensure, where appropriate, procedures are performed in accordance with current GxPs (GLP or GCLP practices).You will record all experiments accurately, clearly and in a timely manner as well as prepare data summaries as and when required. Additional responsibilities will include preparation of GxP documentation e.g. SOPS.  You will also have a good understanding of the practices and concepts of laboratory health and safety and observe and contribute to the company's health and safety policy. Qualifications:It is essential to have an HND or equivalent in Biological Sciences or equivalent. A BSc or equivalent in a Biological Science is desirable.Practical experience of performing immunoassays in a laboratory environment is essential as is experience of working in a laboratory undertaking routine sample analysis and having basic MS office skills. Any experience of working within a quality system (e.g. GxP, GLP, GMP) environment is highly desirable as is practical experience of immunoassays platforms / automation and developing immunoassays.You must have a meticulous approach to laboratory work and documentation.  You will be open and honest and have good communication skills.</description>

		<description>Primary Role:	- To establish and effectively communicate ‘shared targets’ of projects and then subsequently manage those projects to delivery.- To monitor and communicate progress internally and externally to clients. - To take proactive action to minimise the risk of ‘overrun’.- Contribute to the development of the company’s Project and Programme Management systems- Input into Business development activities, such as, portfolio managementSkills/educational background:- Science / Engineering  based degree- Ideally a member of a recognised institute of project management- A minimum of five years experience in a similar role within the Medical device, Pharmaceutical or a related industry (ideally at a minimum of two companies)- Experience of delivering technical projects to challenging timescales and working with cross functional groups- Knowledge of medical device regulatory environment, international legislation, guidelines and customer practices in main markets- Experience of verification of a medical device would be essential, and involvement in preparing for a clinical trial would be desirable.- Project planning in the form of Gantt charts, PERT charts, projected budget, etc, Working knowledge of typical software packages such as Microsoft Excel and Project- Project related financial management- You should have a system level mentality which means that you are more likely from an electronics or software background rather than mechanical. - Prince 2 experience preferred but not essential- Full Driving LicenceAdditional information- It is unlikely that someone who has only worked with mechanical devices, such as inhalers, would have the breadth of knowledge required.- This project is very cross functional covering chemistry, biology, electronics, mechanics and software, so you will need to able to demonstrate and be comfortable with communicating with all these disciplines.- Your experience should be dominated by new product development and not simple products which have a more process centric requirement e.g. Glucose test strips.- Ideally one of your previous roles would have been working with a device that is mechanical and electrical/electronic and that has a monitor. </description>
