» Electronics Engineer

Our client is looking to for an electronics engineer that has a good track record in the development of PCB level mixed analogue and digital circuits. You should have a methodical approach to your work, making accurate measurements and keeping high quality test records. You should be able to demonstrate many (not necessarily all) of the following skills:
· Experience of analogue design using ICs and discrete transistors.
· Ability to test, diagnose and modify discrete designs to meet
required performance
· Familiar with design proving and willing to undertake commissioning, diagnosis and test work in the lab.
· Some understanding and appreciation of stability analysis and
compensation networks
· Understanding of device speed limitations, failure modes and
breakdown mechanisms
· Experience of design for high reliability and design for manufacture
· Good practical skills including hand-assembly of SMT components
· Ability to work as part of a team to business-critical deadlines
· Understanding of switch-mode power supply designs, audio amplifiers,
video amplifiers or other analogue circuits
