» Development Engineer - Windows Desktop Engineer

Our client is seeking a Development Engineer to specialise in Windows Desktop Application Software.

Main Duties Include:

Continuing development of our client’s existing C# and C++ applications
Designing and developing software to manage and display large amounts of real time data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
Development and design experience working with multi threaded real time applications on Windows Platforms and graphical user-interface design
.NET/CLI APIs and Win32 programming experience.

Extensive knowledge in at least one object-oriented development platform (C#, C++ or comparable) is required.

The ideal Candidate will have the following attributes:

Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be able to work on own initiative and also work well within a team environment.
Will have a technical background (electronics, physics, maths, signal processing or an automotive background would be an advantage)

Whilst this role is predominantly developing Windows based applications some Linux experience would also be an advantage.
