» Consultant/Radar Trainer
Your role will be to provide maritime focussed training to customers worldwide. The applicant will need good fundamental radar knowledge in both operational and operational terms. Good presentation skills, an outgoing personality and the ability to travel worldwide for periods of time are also required.
Employed within a full EW Specialist role acting as the Radar ESM Specialist in all matters pertaining to Radar ESM Electronic Warfare. You will also be the main focus for all UKTI, DDefSy, Central Government and oversee and advise on all external 3rd Parties specialist software provision agreements pertaining to RESM.
You must be able to work for long periods, unsupervised and must be able to make informed decisions on a case by case basis and be completely trustworthy in all aspects of the tasks at hand.
You will become a member of a close knit team and at times be required to operate outside your comfort zone and be able to show flair and imagination but above all – flexibility towards achieving the aims and goals for our client.
You will be involved in all city activities and will act as the RESM PoC for any high level discussions and all high level future development discussions. You will report for MSc purposes to the MSc Coordinator for all such matters.
You will be required to enhance current EW & RESM focussed course material, create new material for EW as well as hands on delivery role within the EWSOC and Radar ESM sphere of EW.

A good overall understanding of EW across all aspects of the Maritime and Land environments
Strong operational Navel Radar (ESM) experience and a successful military career a necessity
Well organised, realistic and reliable
Assertive and dynamic Appreciation of the Air EW environment
Royal Navy Communications Technician / EW Staff Officer
GCHQ / NSA knowledge of operations
Exposure of EW training simulations including software such as EWSS
ELINT Analysis Tools experience
RESM/EW Database experience

Knowledge of the Royal Navy and Tri Service Training Establishments (HMS Collingwood and JSSU Chicksands)
Other Successful and demonstrable full military EW career experience mandatory
Good presentation skills
Experience in EW training provision design
Energetic and willing to be part of a flexible specialist team.
