» Applied Technology Engineer

Our clients are looking for an applied technology engineer to take care of all technology, development & service at their European clients. This will include recommendation of specific products for customer requirements, advice on proper handling and use of products, characterising product properties, demonstrating feasibility of proposed processes (both in laboratories and at customers) & to liaise on new products and formulations. You will also modify standard products to customer needs & work closely with QC & customer service. It is essential to be qualified in a scientific, mathematics, physics, chemistry or electronics discipline. You must also have the ability to effectively communicate & have a thorough understanding of most aspects of microelectronic design, reliability, test and manufacturing. Experience of working in a laboratory environment, a background in materials development, formulating and testing, an understanding of failure mechanisms and analysis & handling of Thickfilm pastes for manufacturing or the design of fired circuits are all desirables.
