Facilities Engineer

Polytec are looking for a Facilities Engineer for our client based in Ely. You will be required to attend site for emergency out of hours call outs for this role.

Responsibilities:

* Building maintenance and repairs including preventative maintenance and routine servicing
* Maintain plant in serviceable order ensuring plant faults and defects are rectified quickly
* Lead preparation and installation of potential installation projects
* Assist in the design, development and modification of new and current site equipment
* Statutory compliance of required regulations ensuring all records are accurate

Requirements:

* At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance / Facilities Engineer
* Experience working in a manufacturing building environment
* Good working knowledge of building maintenance statutory compliance regulations
* Electrician Level 3 City & Guilds, 18th Edition IET
* Proven experience in Electrical and Mechanical Building infrastructure
* PAT Certificate
* Experience and knowledge of HVAC systems, plant and components and building services electrical and mechanical systems, CCTV, fire alarms and security systems (Access Controls)
* Air Handling Units, Compressed Air and Water System
* IPAF Cherry Picker Licence, FLT Licence
* Experience in contractor management including PTW and reviewing risk assessments
