Polytec are looking for a Prototype Wirer for our client based in Cambridge. This contract is expected to be for approx. 2 months, but could be extended.

Responsibilities:

* Update and improve the electrical wiring on prototype instruments

Requirements:

* Experience wiring complex electrical systems
* Good practical skills in soldering, crimping, cable harnesses and connectors
* Surface mount PCB manual rework (replacing resistors, capacitors etc)
* Experience using design tools to draw up system wiring diagrams
* Experience with electrical safety of machines, mains powered products to 61010 / 60204
* An electrical qualification would be beneficial
* Able to follow and define process instructions
