Polytec are looking for a Mechanical Technician for our client based just outside Cambridge. You will work a rotating shift pattern as follows:
Week 1 - Monday - Friday 5:45am to 1:45pm
Week 2 - Monday - Wednesday 2pm to midnight, Thursday 2pm to 11:30pm, Friday off.

Responsibilities:
* Cut and prepare tubes to tight tolerances
* Working from engineering drawings following manufacturing and quality procedures to a high standard
* Hand bend tube ranging from 1/8" diameter to 1/2" diameter
* Liaise with and update line manager on status of goods, ensuring that any issues are reported

Requirements:
* Understand and interpret technical engineering drawings
* Excellent attention to detail with a high level of dexterity
* Capable of working to tight tolerances
* Competent in the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
* Ability to follow clear precise procedures / instructions
* Willing to learn and open to new working practices
* Good communication and team skills
