Our client, based in Cambridge is seeking a Cleanroom Technician.

Working closely with staff and students you will be part of a technician team that provides key support and guidance to world leading research activities in electrical engineering. Your principle duties will be to maintain, install and design mechanical services to research equipment in extensive cleanroom facilities, assist and give guidance to others in the use of laboratory equipment and to ensure that facilities are used correctly and safely.

You should have sound practical experience, ideally gained from working in a Cleanroom or similar experimental environment together with an approved period of practical training such as an apprenticeship. Knowledge of equipment used to carry out fundamental semiconductor fabrication processes (i.e. lithography, etch, deposition, metallization, oxidation) would be an advantage.
